Phillip has an MSc in Sustainable Development from SOAS and over 20 years experience working at the intersection of business and international development in Africa.
Phillip is working with Greenpeace creating Genervest and the Burundi government on the mini-grid programme there.
Charlie has an MSc in Sustainable Development from SOAS and over 15 years experience working on large scale development projects across sub-Saharan Africa and is comfortable at any stage of the project life cycle.
Charlie is currently working on the development of the Malawi mini-grid programme.

Jean Marie has been a lecturer, an executive director a two-time CEO and founder and a facilitator of peace. Jean Marie is motivated by his compassion and love for his country - he wants to see Burundi thrive.
Jean-Marie is supporting the government engagement and programme development process in Burundi.
Simon is from an international finance background with more than 15 years’ experience working in senior operations and management roles.
He has also successfully managed procurement processes and renegotiated contracts and fee structures with third-party service providers
