Phillip originated the 100MW plus Kaboni Cameroon hydropower portfolio, including identifying the sites, establishing local community relationships, all pre-feasibility studies, surveys, team development and stakeholder engagement. His first business portfolio achieved a CAGR of 25% over ten years and expansion of the business into multiple sectors, sites and countries. He was contract and development advisor for the first solar PV PPA (5MW) approved by the Sierra Leone government, has successfully originated, developed & negotiated multi-MW development rights transfers, and has designed, developed and delivered a global energy initiative and funding proposals for an anew financing concept (CFPF) for an international NGO. Phillip continues to act as their global RE advisor. Phillip set up the first large scale mini-grid company operations and implementation in Rwanda for a start-up called ARC Power during 2018 and 2019. He also lectures on project risk (regulatory to finance) for the SOAS University of London Masters in Global Energy & Climate Policy.
